  • After finishing my first NES game, Mega Man, I have started playing this mother of all platformers for real. The accelerating controls is something I'll have to get used to - I'd really prefer infinite acceleration. That, and pressing A+Start to continue from the last world. :)

  • Completed world 4 at work. Man, that World 4-4 is puzzly. Fortunately, I already heard the trick mentioned by the Angry Video Game Nerd, so I quickly figured it out.

  • Using my PSP to kill time at Aladdin's Møntvask, I quickly got to world 5 in NesterJ-emulated Super Mario Bros. I hate the Hammer Bros. so much.

  • Reached world 8-4 and King Koopa, and he threw multiple hammers in my face.
  • Oh, I love jumping on Lakitu. Wish I could steal his cloud.

  • Completed the game. YES! Finally, after spending all day practicing world 8, and dying numerous times, I got to world 8-4 with 3 lives, traversed the weird pipe maze, swam through an underwater level with fire, and dodged myriads of hammers from Bowser, and drowned him in lava. Phew, Mario must be happy to never have to go through that again...
